Calling all Catherine Holman fans!!!

Ok, I absolutely LOVE Catherine Holman's artwork!! I could probably gain 40+ pounds just looking at her cupcake prints, but it's a risk I am willing to take, LOL. If you love her work as much as I do, you will want to run over to Laurel Plum Online and enter the giveaway she is having for one of Catherine's prints. The giveaway ends tomorrow, the 27th, so RUN!!! LaurelPlum's site is all about organizing, so if you're anything like me, you will want to check out the rest of what she has in there. I know I'll be spending some time reading!!

Spring Celebration at Old FarmHouse Gathering!!!

Well, it's that time of year, to bring out all the bright colors of spring that we can find! Yeah, there's still a lot of snow around different places, but who doesn't want some cheeriness by now?

Old FarmHouse Gathering members at etsy are having a Spring Celebration to help everyone through the dullness of the rest of winter. The items that were all put together for this Celebration are totally awesome, and you really don't want to miss them!!

Click on the picture above or search for OFGSC in the search bar on etsy, and let the colors and creations take you away!

Today was a DAY!!!

I have to admit, I am glad today is almost over, lol. I won't go into details about the issues I have had to deal with.........so instead, I am going to do something positive. A sweet note to end my day on, if you will.

First, I would like to draw attention to my friend Molly and her blog, Molly's Country Memories Home Place , where she has posted her awesome edition of one of my gingers on a notebook for her granddaughter. I am so proud of the wonderful job she did!!! Click on her blog name and it will take you to that post. Check out the rest of her blog while you're there!

Next, I would like to thank Natalie from Tins and Treasures for the sweet award she bestowed on me. I'll be honest, I have no idea what the award says cuz I only speak English, but I tracked down this info....

"This blog invests and believes in the PROXIMITY-nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement! Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this clever-written text into the body of their award."

Anyway, it will be very hard for me to come up with 8 blogs and I really only want to give this award to special bloggers without feeling like I have to search for some. Does that make sense? I mean nothing negative when I say that, and I know I'm not the only one that feels that way. So, I would like to pass it on to :

There are a bunch more blogs that I really enjoy reading and I am not trying to leave anyone out, trust me!! You guys are welcome to pass this award on, but there is no pressure to find a certain number. Have fun with it!

So, on that note...........

Soft and Sweet..........

Ok, I have never been a frilly frufru kinda gal, but when I was wandering around etsy again, searching under OFG listings , I came across MarionBerry Cottage's most gorgeous listing of a Valentine pillow (click on the picture to see more views). I absolutely love the graphic she used on the pillow and matching tag, and love the colors!! She has a bunch of beautiful items in her shop...........you have to check it all out!! She also does blog backgrounds and shop banners in her store, Cottage Garden Banners , and sells "vintage trappings, supplies and more" at her CartePostale shop. This is one lady that may be able to convert me to what I used to consider "frilly", LOL!!

I have to say that she has the absolute cutest creations, each one with so much personality! I knew she would have something (or a lot of things, lol) that is just too cute, and I came across this absolutely adorable Garden Angel of Love. You have GOT to go check out her shop!!
